Organic Water Desalation Revolution

bambous dans l'eau.png

Imagine turning seawater into drinkable water using nature itself.

Neowall is pioneering a genetically modified giant bamboo that thrives in salty environments. This bamboo naturally filters and stores water, transforming seawater into mineral-rich freshwater—ready.

Natural Water Factory

We are developing an affordable, easy-to-build, and replicable organic desalination and freshwater storage system that requires minimal to no energy power.

Innovative Solution

Our salt-resistant bamboo uses its natural sap flow to filter water through membranes, storing it in its hollow stalks.

The system captures water, filters it using bamboo's natural sap flow, and extracts it through a tubing system, similar to maple syrup production. The water is then post-treated with reverse osmosis to produce pure freshwater.

Giant bamboo isn’t just a plant.

It’s a natural water pump.

Natural Fluid Pump

Bamboo isn’t just strong, it’s smart. Its roots filter out toxins and salt, and its structure absorbs and stores water efficiently. The taller the bamboo, the more water it holds.

Coastal Shield Against Erosion

In addition to its desalination capabilities, the Neowall system plays a crucial role in preventing bank erosion and protecting coastal areas from the threat of rising sea levels. This multifaceted solution not only safeguards shorelines but also contributes to the overall resilience of ecosystems, offering extensive environmental benefits that go beyond its primary function.
